Stardust Drifter
Every star pulls at you — and the same pull that drags you into the fire is the one that slings you across the map.
Your engine is far too weak to fight it. So you don't fight — you read a live line that shows exactly where gravity is about to take you, and turns red the instant that path ends in a star. The whole game is reading that line.
Turn the nose, then burn. Steering and thrust are separate — turning the ship never fires the engine, so you pick the exact moment to burn: hard against your motion to brake, or not at all, letting a gravity well carry you for free. Riding gravity costs nothing. Fighting it costs fuel. The safe line and the beautiful line are the same line.
Sweep up the stardust to refuel. Clear a system and a gate opens onto the next — tighter, heavier, less forgiving. Six systems, each built from a real multiple-star system, from a single lazy sun to the Orion Trapezium tearing itself apart.
Crash and you redo the current system, not the whole run. Depth is your score. How far in can you read the line?
